Scooby Doo Fan Art # 1 (Alternative)

by clementinepumpernickel

I share a love of Scooby Doo with my daughter and so I’ve been scouring the internet for great Scooby art for her. There is, of course, a lot of art that is quite unsuitable, but I’ve discovered some ‘alternative’ takes on the gang that I can’t share with her (yet) but I’m happy to post here. This is the first post in a series that I’m going to do on Scooby Doo, roughly categorised by the ‘theme’ of the artwork.

I’ve also realised that there must be a lot of people out there who seem to have a fascination with Velma and Daphne being bound (especially Velma). Even Deviant Art, which tends to draw a fairly conservative line between art and pornography, is positively dripping with twisted fanboys’ dreams. Each to their own, I guess.

I won’t be posting any of the more, uh, niche artwork here, instead focussing on some pretty great re-imaginings (although another visual tic that keeps cropping is Shaggy smoking, and it’s not what you’d expect him to be smoking, but regular cigarettes). Where possible, I’ve tried to link to the artist’s websites, so please, click through and explore.
